Current municipal policies focus on promoting clean energy utilization and constructing a low-carbon transportation system, striving to achieve peak carbon emissions and carbon neutrality by 2035. Guangzhou is accelerating the layout of new energy industries, vigorously developing renewable energy sources such as wind and photovoltaic power, promoting smart grids and energy internet construction to enhance energy efficiency. At the same time, the city enforces green building standards and industrial pollution control to build an environmentally friendly urban space and accelerate the application of green and low-carbon technologies.
